Louise is Altitude Recruitment Owner and Managing Director. Originally from London, UK, she moved to New Zealand 9 years ago in search of a better work/life balance. She now lives in Kingsland, Auckland with her five-year-old daughter.
Louise spent 8 years working in the fast-paced fashion industry in London, before moving into advertising in Auckland and finding her way into her passion that is recruitment. She takes the time to fully understand her clients and candidate’s needs, goals and aspirations so she can match them to make a perfect fit that ensures success and longevity for everyone. She enjoys providing advice and imparting market and industry knowledge to both clients and candidates and developing long term relationships, far beyond the transactional placement.
Louise has over seven years legal recruitment experience in New Zealand having worked for a large global agency and a mid-size kiwi owned National agency. She specialises in recruiting in the legal space, placing candidates of all levels, with a range of top tier, mid-tier and boutique firms as well as in house opportunities. Louise also has experience of placing New Zealand lawyers returning from overseas, having grown up in the UK and relocated herself, she understands the transition involved when returning to live in New Zealand after a time away.
Louise understands people and they are at the core of everything she does. She is used to working in a predominantly passive market and understands the need for confidentiality. Louise lives by her values of compassion, integrity and honesty.
